Pipedrive's API lives at https://api.pipedrive.com, with newer endpoints under /api/v2 and the rest under /v1.
Copy your personal API token from Settings → Personal preferences → API and send it as the x-api-token header. In the examples it's written {{PIPEDRIVE_API_TOKEN}}.
